Meeting Members
Making New Contacts
Each meeting and event attended will give all SWWIC members the opportunity to meet new people and build upon business contacts/relationships.
Our members are involved in a diverse range of professions in all sectors of the construction industry and informal contacts are easily established at SWWIC meetings and events.
The events programme also provides opportunities for meeting a wider range of people both through guest speakers but also at larger construction industry events where SWWIC is represented and those events open to members' guests.
A Forum For Introductions
It is essential in any professional organisation that the members quickly establish themselves. We at SWWIC believe that it is also important for members to have the opportunity to be introduced. In order to ensure that this is achieved we encourage our members to say a few words of introduction at their first informal meeting.
We also encourage existing members to update the group with their recent developments to keep matters fresh. This is backed up by a brief statement to be included on a contacts list, which we encourage all members to contribute to.
Local Business People
The economy in the South West is continuing to go from strength to strength. This is recognised by SWWIC and guest speakers and events are driven by members' interest and area developments.
We aim to ensure that our members are kept up to date with local business issues but are also given local introduction opportunities.
