SWWIC membership - have you renewed yours?

South West Women in Construction (SWWIC) was originally founded as a network for women in the construction industry in the South West, with a focus on forming connections and highlighting the industry to the next generation. In acknowledging the importance of inclusivity and diversity and fostering a more welcoming and progressive culture, last year we expanded our membership to include all, regardless of gender, age, or any other characteristic. We continue to welcome all champions of women in the industry to join our network and attend our events. Our vibrant community offers a supportive environment for networking, sharing knowledge, and gaining insights into the latest industry developments. Whether you are a seasoned professional or new to the field, SWWIC provides a platform for everyone to connect, learn, and grow together. We are committed to promoting equality and diversity within the construction sector and actively encourage participation from a wide range of disciplines, trades, and organisations. Join us to be part of a dynamic group that celebrates and embraces diversity in construction, and together, let’s shape a more inclusive future for the industry. Every BODY is welcome!

Membership remains at a low rate of £30 for 2025 and £10 for student members. The company membership option, which will cover 5+ members, also remains at a cost of £125. This money will be split between supporting our chosen charities and making sure we can keep the wheels turning on all things SWWIC.

Membership Renewal Notice: If you joined our community after September 2024, your membership is automatically extended through January 2026 at no additional cost. All other members, please complete your renewal to maintain uninterrupted access and benefits. As you all know SWWIC is a ‘not for profit’ organisation and through your membership fees and participation in the many and varied events we are able to support local charities that need our support now more than ever.

We would really appreciate you updating your details if they have changed since joining.

Please note payments for future events will need to be made at the time of booking once confirmation that a space is available is received. If you are not a member at the time of booking, please make payment at the full rate. Membership runs for a full calendar year: January to December. Payments can be received throughout the year and for existing members will only cover the current calendar year. New members joining during the last quarter of the calendar year will have their membership covered for the current and following calendar year.
