International Women's Day -Plymouth's Powerful Women

Following the success of this event last year and by popular demand we would like to welcome you to the below event.

Date: Wednesday 8 March
Time: 8.30 prompt
Address: Pier Masters House, 12-13 Madeira Rd, Plymouth PL1 2NX

The 1.2 mile route starts on the Hoe, and stops at 13 sites with a connection to amazing women in Plymouth. The trail celebrates 100 years of important and influential women who lived or worked in the vicinity of the Hoe and who made a real difference to the City, pushing boundaries, enhancing living conditions, promoting social justice and creating educational opportunities for all.

There is a brief speech for each location.

The walk will start at 8.30am and is approximately 60 minutes, followed by breakfast at Pier Masters House at 9.30am.

Meeting Point: Please meet us at the Nancy Astor Statue on Plymouth Hoe where we ill begin our walk.
Breakfast options: Either a full English breakfast or a Vegan breakfast – Please advise us of any dietary requirements at time of booking.
Cost: £15 for members and £20 for non-members
