What a wonderful gathering for the SWWIC AGM 22/23!

We met for breakfast at Jolly Jacks on Plymouth’s seafront and were incredibly lucky to have picked a day with clear blue skies and warm sunshine. We were joined by Annabel Roberts from Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) and Julia Jeffery from Cornwall Air Ambulance (CAA).

The proceedings started promptly at 915(ish) with annual reports from committee representatives (a copy of the report can be found here ). It was really uplifting to report all the events, membership and financial positives which were well received by members and guests.
We took a look forward to some of the initiatives we are working on as a team including Equality & Diversity, which we feel is an important consideration for the future of SWWIC. We would really appreciate any feedback from members and supporters on how we ensure SWWIC is accessible to all.

With the success of all events throughout 2022 and into 2023 we were delighted to be able to present cheques to both CHSW and CAA for £1,500. As a 100% voluntary organisation, any profits from events are donated directly to our chosen charities.

The event was concluded with a delicious breakfast and a chance to catch up with friends old and new!
